My background
I opened the clinic Dit Alternativ in 1990. More than 35 years of daily clinical practice have since shaped the way I treat, think, and teach today.
I am trained as a massage therapist, Thought Field Therapist, acupuncturist, and reflexologist, and I am RAB-registered in the latter two disciplines.
Over the years, my focus has been on seeing connections rather than isolated symptoms - the relationship between muscles and organs, tension and energy, structure and emotion. This clinical approach has gradually developed into what is now known as Muscular Reflexology.
Muscular Reflexology did not arise as a theoretical model, but as the result of many years of practical work with people and their challenges.
As a former head of a school and owner of a reflexology school since 1995 - and with more than 30 years of experience teaching both basic training and continuing education - it has been natural to continuously develop both the professional content and the pedagogical approach.
